Privacy Policy for the Jobber integration
The Crescendo Scheduling Assistant (“the App”) is operated by Crescendo Marketing (“we,” “us,” “our”) for our own clients. This policy explains exactly what the App reads from a connected Jobber account, what it stores, who it is shared with, and how to disconnect it. It covers the App only. It is not the privacy policy for the crescendomarketing.biz website.
1. Who connects the App
The App is a private Jobber application. It is not listed in Jobber’s App Marketplace and cannot be installed by the general public. It is connected once, by the account owner of a Crescendo Marketing client, through Jobber’s standard OAuth authorization screen.
2. What the App reads from Jobber

The Clients and Jobs permissions are enabled only because Jobber requires them before scheduled items can be read. The App issues no queries against client records or job details.
3. What the App does not do
- It never writes to Jobber. No record in Jobber is created, edited, moved, or deleted by the App, under any circumstance.
- It does not read financial data. Invoices, Jobber Payments, expenses, tax rates and timesheets are switched off in the App’s permissions.
- It does not copy your customer list. No names, addresses, phone numbers, or emails are extracted from Jobber.
4. What is stored, and where
- An OAuth token for the connected Jobber account, so the App can refresh availability without asking the owner to log in again.
- An availability cache derived from the schedule: a list of open dates and times, plus which near-term days are fully booked. It contains no customer information.
Both are held on our private server infrastructure (Railway, United States). The availability cache is overwritten roughly every 15 minutes and is discarded once it is more than 45 minutes old.
5. Who it is shared with
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data obtained through the App. It is shared only with the service providers needed to operate it:
- Railway — hosting for the App and its stored token and cache.
- Anthropic — the list of open dates and times is included in the assistant’s prompt so it can offer a homeowner a real appointment slot. Only dates, times, and the assigned person’s first name are sent. No Jobber customer records are sent.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
6. Retention and disconnecting
The account owner can revoke access at any time from the Apps section of their Jobber account. Access ends immediately on revocation. On revocation, or on request to juan@crescendomarketing.biz, we delete the stored token and the availability cache. There is nothing else to delete, because nothing else is retained.
7. Security
Tokens are stored on a private server volume that is not publicly reachable, and are transmitted only over encrypted connections to Jobber’s API. Access to the infrastructure is limited to Crescendo Marketing staff who operate the service.
8. Changes
If the App’s access or behaviour changes, this page is updated at the same time, and the “last updated” date above changes with it.
